Silent Chalk Talk a group activity was conducted in class wherein students were asked to chalk out whatever they know about the topic ie. Pronouns. which recently were covered in the class.

We are thrilled to share the incredible achievements of our talented skaters at the Summer Roller Skating Championships 2024, held on Sunday, July 21st at the Rohini Sports Complex, Sec 14.

Our champions who clinched the gold medal are Prashish, Aayat, Ridhie, Satvik, Charvi, and Kenisha. 
The silver medal winners are Dhanshika, Asad, Vrishank, Charul, and Vihaan. 
Our bronze medal recipients are Hartaj and Jeewika. 
Additionally, we are immensely proud to announce that our team secured the All-Rounder 1st Position Trophy!

Workshop - Terrain Explorers

The workshop “ Terrain Explorers” was held at American Centre where the students learnt about the surface cartography map. The altimeter measurements provide a comprehensive visual representation of the terrain, allowing for accurate measurements and exploration of the landscape's diverse features.

It gave an insight into the  world for exploration and learning.

Sensitizing students about Children with special needs is crucial for fostering an inclusive environment. By combining awareness with knowledge of therapeutic approaches, GD Goenka in collaboration with Learning Oasis Centre empower students to advocate for and support their peers effectively.

Today, our budding Goenkans of Grade-I and Grade-II embarked a journey to the Museum of Illusions and the National Science Centre. They had an exciting and enriching experience.
The Museum of Illusions captivated the children with its optical illusions, holograms and generated spark curiosity. It's a place where education and entertainment come together to create a memorable and impactful experience for young minds.
On the other hand, the National Science Centre offered a hands-on exploration of various scientific phenomena, making learning fun and engaging for young minds. This dual adventure was a day filled with wonder, discovery and plenty of memorable moments.

To celebrate and relish the taste of the most favourite the king of fruit ‘Mango’ our little Goenkan’s of Grade Nuursery to II celebrated ‘Mango Day’ on 18th July 2024.

The young learners were dressed up in the shades of Mango i.e. Yellow and Green. They thoroughly enjoyed making their own craft by painting the dry mango seeds and converted the seeds into beautiful fish aquarium.
A lively setup was done in auditorium which offered a variety of stalls with all mango treats , fun games like boom boom pow and clicked beautiful pictures at selfie corner.

Our tiny tots were blooming with happiness throughout the day. It was a fun learning experience for them.

Van Mahotsav was celebrated by our young goenkans of classes IV-VIII with great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation. Goenkans were taken to District Park for identification of various plants and trees. Students were indulged in plantation drive, rallies, poster making, group discussions, compost preparation etc in order to be sensitised towards the environmental challenges we face and how we can contribute in protecting our planet.

This celebration served as a platform to nurture a generation of environmentally conscious citizens who understand the vital role trees play in maintaining ecological balance.

GD Goenka Public School, Paschim Vihar, organised a workshop on astronomy for the students of Grade VI to IX. The main objective of the workshop was to plant the seeds of curiosity in the
minds of young aspiring astronomers. 
It included slides and videos to explain the celestial objects. A working satellite was also shown to the students which raised excitement. Students participated in the open ended questions enthusiastically.
